Stunning and Functional.
Your print marketing materials are the only materials that reflect on your company that are left behind after a meeting or conference. In many cases your printed materials compete with others in your same line of business, therefore it is imperative that they stand out.
The two main purposes of print design are marketing and brand awareness. Whether stationery, brochures, newsletters or postcards, good design reflects positively on you and your business.
One of the biggest differences between print and web design is how people relate to them. Holding something physical in your hand — a piece of paper, a folding brochure, a newsletter — is a much different experience than something viewed on a screen. There can be crossovers, such as digital magazines that are laid out in the exact same way as their printed counterparts, but for the most part, the physical versus digital experience is a pretty clear divide. Where and how designs are viewed play a big role in the decisions designers make when creating them.
